From zero to exit

Lessons from building the UK's fastest zero-to-exit agency and selling to a PLC for over $20 million in under three years.

At 27, after a share-vesting dispute despite hitting a three-year target in a single year, Dean launched his own company. Three years later — with overseas offices and a thriving London HQ — it was acquired for over $20 million, making him a multi-millionaire at 30 and, soon after, the youngest CEO on the UK stock market.

What actually drove it

Speed came from focus: a tight proposition, a repeatable sales motion, and a team aligned on a single outcome. Value came from building something that could run — and be measured — without the founder in every conversation.

An exit is not an event you stumble into; it's the natural result of building a resilient, replicable business with clean numbers and a clear story. Start with the end in mind and every decision gets simpler.

Since then Dean has built and exited several more eight- and nine-figure businesses across recruitment, technology, property and more — and now helps other founders do the same.

Put these ideas to work.
